Fur & Flannel

Morning everyone! I’m as happy as a clam right now staring at my two Christmas trees and all of our decorations. This is by far my favorite time of year. 🙂 I can’t help but want to give this time of year as well. I am SO proud of Vicente and I because we were able to go through our closet and donate 8 Trader Joe’s sized bags of clothes. WOW! I feel like giving this season is what it’s all about. Things are hectic around this time, but we must remember the season is about helping others and preparing for the big day. I encourage you this week to go through your clothes and see what you can do. I know old coats and sweaters are needed right now. 🙂

This last weekend was fun with my hubby. We’ve been spending so much time together which has been amazing. I’ve been doubling as his assistant on Saturdays and I love it. So we’ve decided Saturdays we’re gonna explore new Vegan restraunts  and take photos for the blog. This last Saturday was my favorite outfit I’ve worn on the blog so far. I’ve realized I need to go explore so much more of this city. This faux fur vest has been my favorite go to lately to wear over button ups and sweaters. The purse has special meaning because it was a birthday present from my hubby. Becoming vegan meant saying goodbye to my Tory’s,Gucci’s, Louis, and Michael’s. But it’s OK. I don’t want to support something so horrible. If you google how leather handbags are made you will not go back either. I’ve loved Stella McCartney for so long and this bag was such a surprise from hubby. I love it and can’t wait to get more from her. See you in my next post. XO, Ashley
